Our Manifesto
Brian’s Table has a manifesto. Yes, an actual manifesto.
Over the decades, it has evolved and represents some simple rules that I try to follow to guide our events/food experiences and live life just a little bit better. Note the emphasis on “try,” as there are compromises and choices that we make that don’t always fit neatly with my rules. The real inspiration came when I had a few folks ask me how I achieved my weight loss and kept it off. I want to emphasize that weight loss was NOT the primary goal. I knew I had to change all my behaviours, my health, fitness, diet and mindset. But I also had to grapple with learning how to prioritize and balance all of these goals.
